Filler Activities

These are short activities, meant to take under an hour, but are still very fun. When done right, they can take longer though!

Under the Duvet

Sardines

For those of you that don't know, sardines is a reverse of hide-and-seek: one person hides and everyone looks for him/her. They then hide there until the last person comes...when they scream SARDINES! Just kidding, the end part is totally optional. This game have kept kids entertained for plenty of time, but can go for a short time, if that's what you want. TIP: Have the kid who is hiding tell you where so you can play hot and cold if they still can't find the hider.

Sensory bin

For a cool-down or, if running a camp, for a kid to go whenever she/he needs a break. Fill it with play-dough, rice grains, kinetic sand, shaving cream (messy but kids love it), monkey foam, flour...add whatever you feel like.

Color Powder Bins
Glitter Slime

Make and play with slime

Slime is really simple and easy to make, and once you do there is plenty to do with it!
